We do a lotta recording here at London’s Finest Recording Studio – and it’s Always a pleasure to host talent like Mike Bonema! The man’s a true natural – always delivers, has a vocal tone you can listen to forever – and an interesting, eclectic take on his backing music. The last lp was All about disco and soul. This new one has a plethora of ideas ranging from deep distorted house vibes to glitchtronic bit crushed beats – but all of it feels natural and musical.
We not only managed to record a bunch of vocals for Mike – we also recorded Niontay another excellent NYC rapper, and some of their British Hip Hop compadres – it was a blast! Here’s Mike doing his thing.
