Sweetbus – Analog Transformer Mixbus music Audio Processor

Sweetbus - Analog Transformer Mixbus music Audio Pro

Neve Belclere Transformer

so…. we’ve been building these vintage transformer colour boxes for our mixing and mastering brethren worldwide to run their music and audio through – like this sublime Neve Belclere stereo set:

Neve Marinair Transformer

We had our work cut out as there are some extremely high end, beautiful sounding transformers out there – like these guys:

The natural next move was to build our very own take on that there thing – and here it is! Sweetbus – is a mixbus processor (Like the £4,000 Neve Portico – but 17 times less expensive) which has two stereo sets of carefully chosen transformers, and each set of transformers has two switchable distortion circuits to clip the signal into or out of the transformers.

The clipping circuit Into the transformers smoothes out the signal – so you can push a less peaky signal into them – the clipper circuit After the transformers overdrives the transformed audio – and both colour the audio in a Very beautiful way. Check the video:

If you’re lucky and we still have stock (they’re hand built and point to point wired!) you can buy one Here.

As ever – We are Way ahead of the game when it comes to audio fidelity and production!
